Why did you choose this particular language?
It was required to choose a language for my program, I wanted to learn the language and culture of the European economic powerhouse and be able to experience the culture first hand.
Your Learning Experience
Cristina Finger was my professor for most of my learning experience, she kept in touch with me during my exchange and was a very active helpful force to help me settle. She also encouraged me after the exchange to continue seeking language learning opportunities and platforms.

Using Language after Graduating
It’s opened a lot more doors than I could have expected, I wanted to pursue post graduate education and feel drawn to returning to Germany to do it.
Why study a second or additional language?
Learning another language is more than just a certification. It allows you to relate to another’s experiences and identity in a way that is more important than any designation could give you. It opens your eyes and inspires you to think more creatively and effectively.
