The NSERC Alliance Heritage Engineering for Adaptive Transitions (HEAT) research project is led by six professors from Carleton University, McGill University, and École de Technologie Supérieure. The researchers possess expertise from various disciplines, including: Architecture, Civil and Building Engineering.
Industry Partners and Collaborators
The NSERC Alliance HEAT research project is supported by four industry partners: Tacoma Engineers, DFS Architecture, EVOQ Architecture, and ERA Architects. The research is conducted in collaboration with Heritage Places Conservation Services at the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) and NRC Construction – Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure and Communities laboratories.
Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP)
The NSERC Alliance HEAT research project supports Master’s and PhD students in Architecture, Civil, and Building Engineering. Candidates must be enrolled at Carleton University, McGill University, or École de Technologie Supérieure.
