To support the implementation of the Finance and Administration Strategy, OQI provided backbone support to four SIGs. These groups brought together 40 members from across the division, fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation. Their efforts led to several impactful outcomes:
- Methodology to assess and optimize the division’s space usage
- A pilot of Carleton’s first virtual agent to enhance service delivery
- Software learning sessions aimed at increasing awareness of risk, redundancy, and cost saving opportunities
- An AI pilot to evaluate business applications, benefits and limitations of targeted software licenses
