We are pleased to announce that the Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment is now available at Carleton University. The next test sitting will take place on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th.

The CAEL Assessment is a standardized test of English designed to describe the level of English of test takers planning to study in an English-medium college or university (including Carleton University), or to apply for membership in a number of professional associations. It is an alternative to the American TOEFL and the British IELTS Academic Training.

Why take the CAEL Assessment?

You will benefit from:
• a Canadian test with Canadian accents,
• a computer-delivered speaking test (no human examiners), and
• a great price at $195.00 CAD.
All registrations can easily be done online. Seats are filling up quickly so it’s recommended to register ahead of time. Register online now!
