We invite you to join the Ottawa innovation and entrepreneurship community in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Tony Bailetti.
Dr. Bailetti was more than an academic leader. He was a mentor, an ecosystem builder, and a tireless champion of entrepreneurship whose influence shaped generations of founders, innovators, and technology leaders in Ottawa and beyond.
Through his leadership of Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management (TIM) Program, Dr. Bailetti helped entrepreneurs think bigger, commercialize ideas, and build companies rooted in innovation and global ambition. His impact is reflected in countless startups, mentorship relationships, and collaborations across the ecosystem.
His contributions to entrepreneurship, mentorship, and innovation will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.

The Bailetti family will be holding a public celebration of life for our father on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre in Ottawa. We would be grateful if you would join us.
Doors will open at 3:00 PM. The celebration program will begin at 3:30 PM, with a reception to follow.
This gathering is for the many people whose lives Tony touched: family, friends, students, alumni, colleagues, founders, collaborators, and community members. We hope it will be a warm afternoon of stories, gratitude, and connection.
We know June 21 is Father’s Day, and we are grateful to everyone who is able to adjust their weekend plans to join us that afternoon. We could not move the gathering to another day, but given Tony’s fatherly influence in so many lives, we also find the timing fitting.
