Cosmic Odyssey

Join us for an out-of-this-world experience at our all-girls* Cosmic Odyssey event! Girls in grades 6-8 are invited to join us in diving into the exciting realm of space and aerospace engineering through our fun hands-on activity. Get ready to ignite your curiosity and reach for the stars with us!

Go Eng Girl

Saturday, October 14th – 9:00am – 12:00pm

Go Eng Girl is a unique opportunity for girls* in grades 7 to 12 to learn about careers in the exciting field of engineering. Carleton University hosts an annual event in October to engage participants in fun, hands-on design projects. Students and parents also have a chance to hear from current engineering students about what it’s like to study at Carleton!

*By saying girls, we recognize and welcome all self-identifying girls including cisgender and transgender girls and gender-diverse students in STEM. We also encourage and welcome Indigenous girls, racialized girls, and girls with disabilities.

Take Our Kids to Work Day

Wednesday, November 1st – 8:30am – 4:30pm

Take Our Kids to Work Day is a yearly event that provides high school students with the chance to step into the shoes of a working professional for a day. The Faculty of Engineering and Design is excited to host a day filled with hands-on activities and engaging experiences. Students with a parent who work at Carleton University are invited, and friends/family members in the community. The event is intended for grade 9 students however, we invite students in grades 9-12 to take part in this exciting day!
