Virtual Ventures and the Faculty of Engineering and Design invite high school students interested in leadership to join us for a 4-part club about engineering and design!

This club’s goal is to immerse students in the field of engineering by hearing from Carleton’s professors and engineering students about research, engineering projects, resume building and careers. Our focus will be on developing leadership skills in an ever-changing world, tackling questions like: what does it mean to be a leader in STEM? What are some pathways to success in STEM education & professional careers? How can I be a leader online? What swords and shields can I equip to be safe and smart in virtual spaces? What are the next steps for me after this club? How can I build a resume that reflects the kind of leader that I am and that captures my goals effectively?

These topics and many more! The students will also be able to chat with our instructors (who have graduated engineering at Carleton) for any specific inquiries!
