In this interview, Dr Sebastian Baglioni discusses regional nationalist and independence movements in the European context, in light of the recent referendum in Scotland, and independence vote in Catalonia.

Dr Baglioni is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University. His research focuses on Spanish politics and substate nationalism (Catalonia, the Basque Country, and Galicia), as well as European integration.
