Student EDI Research Award Presentations
Join us to learn about the innovative EDI-related research conducted by the 2022 Carleton University Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Research Award recipients. Award recipients will share key findings from the research projects they conducted this summer. Topics include: weaving Indigenous Ways of Knowing into the Carleton School of Social Work; the weaponization of sound in the city; Canada’s response to the Afghan versus the Ukrainian refugee crises; food insecurity and prospects for food sovereignty among the Haitian diaspora in Canada; racial disparities among substance use research; and, expanding gender representation in Mechanical Engineering undergraduate programs.
