1. To forward your extension to another number
  2. To deactivate call forwarding

To forward your extension to another number

  1. Lift handset.
  2. Dial *8 followed by the number to which you want your calls forwarded to. This number can be another Carleton extension or a local external number (be sure to add a 9 before the phone number to indicate dialing out).
    You will get a pulsating busy tone to confirm it
  3. Hang up and test that your call forwarding is working.

To deactivate call forwarding

  1. Lift handset.
  2. Dial *8 and hang up.
  3. Test that your call forwarding has been removed
