Professor Marianne Goodfellow

Marianne Goodfellow has been teaching in the Greek and Roman Studies Department for quite some time and her subjects include the introductory courses in Archaeology, Travel in the Ancient World, and Latin. The focus of her research is the reception of Vergil’s Georgics in Antiquity. Her students, however, are well aware that she is easily distracted by Roman roads, as well as Hadrian’s Wall which she plans on walking the full length of on her next trip.
