What is your favourite thing about the College?

I most enjoyed the College’s facilitation of open discussion. Participating in the enthusiasm of my peers in our shared interests and interrogating the ideas that formed the basis of the Western world gave me a special pleasure.

What will you miss the most?

I will miss the challenge of reading philosophical texts and hearing others’ unique interpretations, which have shed new light outside my own scope, especially those of my highly esteemed professors.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

I loved Diderot’s Rameau’s Nephew and Petrarch’s Canzoniere in equal measure as the masterful intersection between philosophy and poetic fiction.

What’s next for you?

I will be working towards an English M.A. with Climate Change Collaborative Specialization at Carleton University.
