The Algonquin to Adirondack Conservation Association will be holding their A2A Speakers Forum and Annual General Meeting on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the municipal hall in Portland.

Speakers at the forum include Michael Runtz who is known across the region for his education and conservation efforts as well as his stunning nature photographs. He hosted Wild by Nature, an international nature series and has appeared as a guest on many television and radio shows.

He has worked as a naturalist in both national and provincial parks, and teaches natural history and ornithology at Carleton University. Runtz has also received many awards, including the Outstanding Service Award from the Federation of Ontario Naturalists.
