Jenny Crick, a graduate student in the Hepworth lab, and a colleague were perplexed as to why the tulip still produces a flower if they propagate using bulbs. After scouring the internet to no avail, she stumbled upon a blog detailing the reproductive cycle of the tulip. Low and behold, tulips will indeed produce seeds!
