May, currently an undergraduate student in Chemistry, has been developing and marketing his ‘foamless’ shaving product, Remay, for several years. The product, which looks like a deodorant stick, is meant to make shaving easier and quicker. Remay is sold online and across the country in select drugstores. Along the way, May has won several awards for his efforts, including the 2012 Nicol Entrepreneurial Award and in 2013 was named the Enactus Canada Student Entrepreneur National champion.
May’s appearance on the nationally televised Dragons’ Den follows his victory in 2012 in the Dragons’ Den student pitch competition. Dragons’ Den will air on CBC television at 8 pm on Wednesday, October 9.
