Carleton University awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, “in recognition of her tireless efforts and outstanding leadership in promoting human rights for women within the justice system” to Kim Pate, Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, and co-lead of the Violence Against Women Hub of Community First: Impacts of Community Engagement.
