If you haven’t heard already, there’s some great things brewing in Central Canada. The University of Winnipeg just officially gave the green light to an initiative requiring all undergraduate students to take at least one Indigenous studies course before they graduate. This makes UWinnipeg the first University in Canada to approve a university-wide mandatory Indigenous course.
