On June 14, Violence Against Women (VAW) Hub’s community co-lead, Kim Pate, was awarded an honourary degree by Carleton University. According to Carleton University, Kim Pate was awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, “in recognition of her tireless efforts and outstanding leadership in promoting human rights for women within the justice system.”
