The Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta is excited to announce a new Master of Arts degree in Community Engagement (MACE).  This is a thesis based, interdisciplinary program that aims to prepare students for the study and practice of community engagement in a variety of settings. Students will explore the historical and contemporary perspectives that are shaping this field, gain practical experience working in the community, learn about research and engagement methodologies, and carry out their own research project under academic supervision. This program is offered to full-time and part-time students.  MACE will launch in the 2016/2017 academic year. For more on MACE see their Community Engagement website or contact mace@ualberta.ca.
