Food from Thought, the University of Guelph’s $76.6 million, 7-year Canada First Research Excellence Fund project, is aimed at catalyzing a new digital agricultural revolution. Comprising 10 lead investigators and approximately 40 other faculty members, the Food from Thought team aims to create an innovative agri-food research platform that will draw together stakeholders from the community, government, municipalities, industry, agriculture, and engineering consulting firms, to advance research knowledge, expertise and technology relating to agri-food and big data technologies.
The Food from Thought team is seeking a Project Director who will be responsible for supporting the University’s senior administrative and academic leadership to ensure the project not only meets core compliance and deliverables requirements, but also has sustainable and lasting impacts that enable further success in the evolution of agri-food research at the University.
