Sheridan College is seeking candidates for the position of Professor, Community Studies, Indigenous Knowledge and Practices.
Sheridan is looking for outstanding individuals to join their faculty team. The succesful candidate will teach a range of courses within the School of Community Studies including Social Service Worker, Social Service Worker Gerontology, and Community Outreach Worker Programs. We seek a candidate with a strong connection to Indigenous people and or communities and who apply an Indigenous framework to research and relevant social and community development practice. An anti-oppressive approach to social work and community development which places strong emphasis on social transformation and change to promote equity and social justice is required.
