Anna Przednowek
CCEC Research Assistant
Anna Przednowek is a graduate research assistant (RA) with the CFICE project and CCEC, and a doctoral student in the School of Social Work at Carleton University.
Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked for over 13 years as a social worker in community practice with persons labelled with intellectual disabilities and their families in South-Western Ontario.
Anna first started with CFICE’s Violence Against Women (VAW) hub in the Fall of 2015. Her long-term experience with CFICE sparked her interest in the impacts of community-campus engagement for students. Recently, Anna partnered with Algonquin College to co-develop a webinar focusing on translating student “academic experiences” into job skills employers desire. She also collaborated with another graduate CFICE RA on an academic paper exploring student experiences in CFICE projects’ long-term embedded research assistantships.
