Edward Jackson is Senior Research Fellow at the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci) at Carleton University, where he holds adjunct appointments in public policy, international affairs and African studies. He served as founding Principal Investigator of the SSHRC-funded CFICE project, and is currently Convenor of the C2UExpo 2015 conference. An advisor to foundations, governments and development agencies, Professor Jackson is a former Associate Dean (Research and Graduate Affairs) in the Faculty of Public Affairs and co-founded the Carleton University-World Bank International Program for Development Evaluation Training and the Better Futures Network, based in Brazil. His research interests include community-campus partnerships, program evaluation, program management, local governance, gender equality, social enterprise, impact investing, and foreign aid.
