Lisa Erickson

Manager, Community Engagement and Outreach

Lisa joined the University of Saskatchewan in October 2012 and opened the University’s Community Outreach and Engagement office at Station 20 West in Saskatoon’s inner city at that time. Lisa leads a small community engagement team and office focused on strengthening community-university relationships aimed at building social, educational, economic, and health equity through collaboration, experiential learning and research.

Lisa serves as Vice-Chair of the Saskatoon Public Library and the co-chair of the Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership—a coordinated, multi-sectoral collaboration with a common vision for poverty reduction in Saskatoon. For the past three years, she has been part of a project team working within the Poverty Reduction Hub of the SSHRC-funded Communities First: Impacts of Community Engagement (CFICE) project, and she’s served as the University’s Broker representative to the Canadian Research Impact Network. Lisa is keen to collaborate to realize the possibilities for pan-Canadian CCE stakeholders and partnerships.
