Welcome to Our Online Learning Community!
If you’re an online, working or distance student, accessing our campus services can be challenging. Our online learning community will allow you to access our services so you won’t miss out on the tools and skills that can help you succeed at Carleton.
Our online learning community will allow you to:
- take a learning support workshop
- meet with a PASS Facilitator
If you’re part of the Incentive Program these online workshops will count for credit (unless otherwise stated by your Professor, please check your syllabus for more information). Tuesday, April 7th is the last day for the learning support workshops for the winter term.
To enter the online learning community, you must self-enrol.

Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS):
PASS Workshops and Office Hours will be taking place online for the remainder of the term. Students can meet with their PASS Facilitator virtually through the instructions on this page. PASS worksheets will be continued to be posted on the PASS Workshops page, and students are encouraged to download the worksheet before virtually attending their PASS Workshop.
Please note the last day for PASS Workshops and Office Hours is Friday, April 3rd. After this date, students can virtually attend a PASS Take-Up Session for their Mock Final Exam. The full schedule is available on the PASS Mock Final Exam Schedule page. Mock Final Exams will be posted on the PASS Workshops page a week before the Take-Up Session and students are encouraged to complete it beforehand.
Writing support will be offered online for the remainder of the term. To get support, students should email firstname.lastname@example.org with a short description of the challenges they are experiencing. The writing coordinator will be available to respond via email or to set up a virtual meeting.
All academic integrity workshops have been moved online for the remainder of the term. Students required by their faculty to complete a one-on-one workshop are now being asked to complete the workshop online. The workshop can be accessed using the instructions on this page.
