Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
If you are completing online Learning & Writing workshops or one-on-one sessions as part of the Incentive Program, here are answers to frequently asked questions.

- Complete all lessons and earn 100% on the final assessment (up to 8 attempts). You’ll then receive a Record of Completion (ROC) in Brightspace.

- Log into Brightspace via the Online Resources page and self-enrol in the CSAS Learning & Writing Workshops and Resources course.

- Attend a booked one-on-one session or visit CSAS during the designated drop-in hours. Follow your instructor’s directions for receiving credit.

- Book a one-on-one session through mySuccess or visit CSAS during the designated drop-in hours.

- Bring any course materials or assignment details (e.g., notes, drafts, or instructions), and a completed Preparation and Reflection Form. Come ready with questions or goals for your session.

- Log into Brightspace: Progress → Awards → Select certificate → Generate Certificate (PDF) → download and submit.

- Yes, students can submit previous ROCs. However, your instructor decides whether previous Records of Completion can be used. While you can access and submit past records, some instructors may require you to complete workshops again in the current term – check your course outline for details.

- Yes, students can repeat workshops. If allowed by your instructor, you may also submit a previous Record of Completion, which includes the date the workshop was completed. However, some instructors may require you to complete workshops again in the current term – check your course outline for details.
