As part of The Stonecraft Symposium’s To be Continued: Troubling the Queer Archive, Carleton University Art Gallery is hosting a Henna Party with Cultural Mediations PhD candidate and artist, Pansee Atta whose work in this exhibit explores the unstated queerness inherent in henna practice. This workshop includes a talk on the history of and contexts for henna and mehndi body-art practices, a guided demonstration and an audience Q & A on Thursday, November 19th at 4:00 p.m.
