The in-class Young Worker Health and Safety Awareness training course is offered by Environmental Health and Safety during the month of May of each year to accommodate the influx of young summer workers. It is mandatory for all workers to attend either the in-class Young Worker Health and Safety Awareness or to complete the online Worker Health and Safety Awareness and WHMIS training sessions prior to beginning work on campus.

NOTE: The in-class session for Young Workers is specifically designed to meet the needs of this vulnerable populations. This session offers young workers the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion about health and safety in-person. Young workers are strongly encouraged to attend the in-class session.
