Tornado Awareness Training Overview

As a Carleton community member, you may have some questions about specific hazards and how you can prepare for them. This session will focus on how to be prepared for tornadoes and will provide you with information to better understand this hazard, maintain situational awareness, and take decisive action.

Over the course of one hour, we will cover the following:

  • Historical events
  • Hazard information
  • Understanding watches vs. warnings
  • Staying safe before, during, and after a tornado

This is an in-class session.
