EP Stream Representatives
Stream Representatives play a key role in connecting students within each stream to the Engineering Practice program. They act as the voice of their stream, sharing perspectives, challenges, and ideas with EP leadership to help shape and improve the program. Stream Representatives also help communicate important updates and opportunities, gather feedback to inform continuous program improvement, and support EP events and processes—such as onboarding, elections, and exit surveys—to enhance the overall student experience.
Graduate Students’ Association
Carleton’s Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) represents and supports graduate students across the university, providing advocacy and opportunities to get involved in the campus community. Graduate students can access services such as financial support programs, grants, and professional development funding, along with initiatives that support student wellbeing. The GSA also organizes events and activities that allow students to connect with peers and engage with the broader graduate community
Carleton Engineering Graduate Student Association
The Carleton Engineering Graduate Student Association (CEGSA) represents graduate students within the Faculty of Engineering and Design and works closely with faculty, staff, and university services to support a positive and engaging graduate student experience.
CEGSA provides opportunities for students to connect with peers across engineering disciplines, participate in academic and professional development activities, and take part in community events. The association also plays an important role in sharing student perspectives with faculty leadership and contributing to initiatives that support student success within the engineering community, including those relevant to Engineering Practice.
Women in Engineering and IT Program
Carleton’s Women in Engineering and IT (WiE&IT) Program supports women studying in engineering and information technology disciplines by providing opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and connections with peers and industry partners. The program works to address the gender gap in STEM fields while supporting students throughout their academic and professional journeys.
