Philippe Thierry Douamba
Chief Administrative Officer, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa
Philippe Thierry Douamba holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (major finance) from the University of Québec in Outaouais and a master’s degree in public administration (major international administration) from l ’École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP). Philippe has close to 20 years of experience working at the University of Ottawa, including being the Associate Director, Strategic Development Initiatives Office and the Chief of Staff of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation.
Philippe has also been, and continues to be, a strong voice and advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. He has been a member of various committees on EDI on campus and is now a member of the EDI in Research Advisory Committee.
Philippe has been the Chief Administrative Officer of the Telfer School of Management for four years. In this role, he provides strategic and operational leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of activities such as budget planning and control, financial strategies, and human, physical, and information technology resource management to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the school’s teaching and research.
