Biography
Claire is a BC born EPAF PhD student whose research focuses on the relationships between cultural practice, shared remembering, and cultural policy. In particular, she’s interested in exploring the ways in which Canadian cultural policy exploits and marginalizes life-giving cultural practices to legitimize the project of Canadian sovereignty. Beyond her research, Claire is just as passionate about her role as an educator and is already looking forward to teaching someday soon. Outside of academia, she loves to cook, play tabletop roleplaying games, and cook for her friends after playing tabletop roleplaying games together.
