Biography
Vanja (Vanya) Spirić is a higher education professional specializing in quality assurance. Her research focuses on the ethical dimensions of how student data is collected, interpreted, and used to inform decision-making at both programmatic and institutional levels. With a background in evaluation and institutional research, she is particularly interested in the philosophical and ethical considerations surrounding data use in higher education. Vanja seeks to contribute to the evolving role of quality assurance professionals by examining the ethical boundaries of student data use in quality assurance practices, linking these concerns to both individual student rights and broader questions about the purpose of higher education. Beyond her research, she has teaching experience in the community college sector and is also engaged in human rights education and advocacy.
