The Valdai Discussion Club is featuring the upcoming Russia and Islam Conference on its website in an article entitled, “Valdai Club and Carleton University to make another joint project.” The story explains the aims of the conference – supported by EURUS, the Valdai Club, and the Centre for Governance and Policy Management – and professor Piotr Dutkiewicz’s observation that Canada and Russia can learn a lot from each other in terms of minority-related policy with regards to our respective Muslim populations.
