Applications are invited from members of the CUPE 4600 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach the following European, Russian and Eurasian Studies course during the Early Summer Term (May/June) 2017.
EURR 4008/5008 Nationalism and Ethnic Conflict in Eastern and Central Europe
This course examines nationalism and ethnic politics in the region. It draws on the example of specific countries, including Russia, Ukraine, and East European states that have joined the European Union. Required Qualifications and Skills: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Political Science, Sociology, or a related discipline. They should have demonstrated expertise on Central and Eastern Europe, and should have a record of related publications. Teaching Competence: Candidates are required to have relevant teaching experience in Political Science, Sociology, or European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, focusing on Central and Eastern Europe.
