The Jean Monnet Chair “Democracy in the European Union”, in cooperation with Cinema Politica Carleton, invites you to a public film screening:
DEMOCRACY (David Bernet, Germany / France, 2015)

The screening will be followed by a Skype discussion with a staff member of MEP Jan Philipp Albrecht‘s office.
DEMOCRACY offers an insight into the political struggle for new data protection legislation in the EU. It follows MEP Jan Philipp Albrecht and (former) EU Commissioner Viviane Reding during the legislative process, thus bringing complex power structures to life and offering a snapshot of EU-level democracy today.
