The Jean Monnet Network on EU-Canada Relations is pleased to host a research seminar: The Interaction of National and International Administrations in the European Energy Framework with Sebastian Widmuch, TU Darmstadt.
Energy Policy in Europe is characterised by interdependence between national and international actors, such as supporting a transition towards renewable energy sources. This presentation will focus on determinants of effective coordination between administrative levels, and address how coordinated relations reflect power structures between administrations.
Biography: Sebastian Widmuch is a PhD candidate and visiting scholar from the Technische Universität Darmstadt in Germany. He is a research associate in the project “Linking national and international administrations – The impact of multilevel coordination”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
This research seminar is geared towards doctoral students and their supervisors, as well as EURUS MA students interested in the research.
This event is an activity of the Jean Monnet Network on EU-Canada Relations, co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union, by Carleton University, and by partner Institutions.
