Listing of all public opinion surveys held by the data center and links to other social science sites which provide data. Most of the international surveys held by the data center were conducted in East European countries. The data center has surveys from the International Social Survey Program (ISSP), the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), and Central and East European and European Euro-Barometers. It also has a 1995 Russian election survey, a Russian Enterprise survey, a Ukrainian elections survey, and data from the European Union.
You may want to search some of the following sites for surveys. If you find a survey that you want and that Carleton does not have, you can ask the data center to obtain it for you.

GESIS
GESIS transfers social science information between Eastern and Western so as to foster East-West cooperation and support for comparative research. The services offered and programs of cooperation relate particularly to the following countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus. The GESIS site provides survey information on the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP), the Eurobarometer, and elections studies in Eastern Europe. The site is in German and English.
International Social Survey Program (ISSP)

The ISSP undertakes annual surveys on a range of topics in many different countries around the world. Thirty-four countries are members of the ISSP. The ISSP website includes an archive of past surveys that you can look through and provides information on current and future survey activities.

ICPSR is located within the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. You can search the ICPSR archive for surveys on Eastern Europe.
