Research Units

EURUS is a community of active researchers. EURUS faculty members spend a lot of time working on their research initiatives in Europe, Russia and Eurasia, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on their own research projects. They have been successful in winning major Canadian and international research grants.

EURUS houses, or is affiliated with, numerous research centers and projects Carleton University. These include the Centre for European Studies (CES), the Eastern European and Trans-Atlantic Network, the Jean Monnet Chair in EU External Relations: Competitive Regionalism in Eurasia, the Canadian Journal of European and Russian Studies, the Centre for Governance and Public Management (CGPM), as well as the Migration and Diaspora Studies Initiative (MDS).
