With the fall term coming to a close; many students will be shifting their attention towards starting their careers. With that in mind, Career Services have put together a list of Employment Information Sessions taking place over the next couple of weeks. All of these opportunities can be accessed through the mySuccess portal.
CSIS In-person Recruitment Event
- November 23, 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at 1301 Health Sciences Building
Career Fair for Women in STEM
- November 24, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Residence Commons (and floor conferences rooms)
- Event is open to women students in STEM
Royal Canadian Mint – Networking Event for Women and Gender Minorities
- November 29, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Royal Canadian Mint, 320 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario
Co-op TECHWorking Night
- December 1, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at CU@Kanata (transportation provided from Carleton)
- Open to all Co-op students, with a special focus on students in STEM programs
BMO Enterprise Campus Recruitment
- December 7, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (virtual event)
International Internship Program
The deadline to apply to the International Internship Program for Winter or Summer 2023 is November 25, 2022. An international internship is an opportunity to work internationally for academic credit. Internships are an excellent way to gain real-world work experience, develop contacts in your field and build your resume to market yourself for future career opportunities. Opportunities available in-person and virtually!
Student Employment with Residence and Housing
For students who are continuing their studies into 2023-2024; Housing and Residence Life Services are hiring Residence Fellows for next academic year. A Residence Fellow is a role model, front-line resource helper, developer of communities, and a leader for the students living on their floors and the overall residence community.
