Scams are tricks that people play on others to obtain their personal and financial information.  These tricks can have serious consequences.  An average internet and telephone user will come across many scams on their day-to-day online activities. Lately, there is an increase in such activities and this online session on Online Safety and Security is one of the resource on how to be aware of becoming an involuntary victim.

This presentation, offered by The Campus Safety Officers, will describe some common scams and give you tips on how to protect yourself from becoming a victim.  The online presentation will cover types of internet and telephone scams, consequences of falling victim to scams.
