Lunchtime Walking Group
2024 Healthy Workplace Walking Group
The perfect addition to your Friday.
Healthy Workplace Walking Group will meet every Friday at 12:10pm before embarking on a walk around campus utilizing the beautiful pathways that surround the university. This walking group aims to support your mental and physical health by providing you with an opportunity to take a step back from your responsibilities and stresses, engage with others at a social distance all whilst enjoying the healing effects of nature at your own pace.
Time/Date:
Meetups will take place on Fridays at 12:10pm, beginning April 5, 2024
Location:
The group will meet near the flag poles on Library Road (in front of Azrieli) before heading out for a walk around Carleton’s beautiful campus and surrounding area.
Duration:
Group walks will be approximately 30-40 minutes in duration.
Important Details:
- The Walking Group is open to all Carleton University staff and faculty.
- All levels of walkers are welcome to participate.
- You do not need to commit to walking every week. You can drop-in whenever your schedule allows.
