On Friday, March 27, 2020, Carleton University, after broad consultation, has determined to postpone or cancel all Carleton in person events until June 30, 2020. As a result of this decision, Healthy Workplace is cancelling all in-person activities until June 30, 2020.

As Carleton University continues to follow our safe meetings and social distancing guidelines, Healthy Workplace has transitioned to providing services remotely during our regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).

Healthy Workplace offers a variety of lunchtime leagues and activities to help Carleton faculty and staff get away from your desk at lunch, incorporate some physical activity into the workday, and to participate in recreational sport in the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship. These are also great opportunities to socialize and meet new people from across campus! All Carleton faculty and staff are encouraged to come out and try something new, regardless of their skill level or experience!

We’re happy to provide faculty and staff of all skill levels the chance to stay active and play the games they love, or learn new sports. While encouraging competitive game play, we want everyone to have fun. Healthy Workplace lunchtime leagues are an environment for participants of all skills levels to enjoy the value of healthy living in a social gathering through sport.
