The 4th Annual screening of the narrative historical documentaries produced by the students of HIST 4302C will take place this coming Thursday, April 3, 7.00 pm rm 208 Tory Building. A reception will follow in the foyer of the Department of History.

All are welcome to attend and be amazed by the quality of work that the students have produced this year.

The four documentaries are:

–– A Long Walk – The story of Patrick Whalen produced by Tom Sloss, Brittney Thistle and William Bell.

–– Montreal: Wide Open – Vice in Montréal in the 1930’s and 1940’s; produced by Michel Szasz, Jennifer Turnbull and Joseph Webb

–– The Last Voyage of the Karluck – The journey of an arctic expedition c. 1914; produced by Brandon Kassis, Aaron Goldstein-Storseth, Vilma Ccopa and Yuko Inoue

–– Gone But For a Song – The culture of song in the lumber industry; produced by Darren Gatley, Heather Kitching and Caresse Ley.
