On Wednesday January 29, from 6-7:30 pm in the History Lounge (4th Floor Paterson), the History Undergraduate Students Society (HUgS) and the department are holding a career event to talk about finding employment after graduation. All History Major and Honours students of all levels are welcome!

There will be a panel of four speakers to share their ideas and advice about using skills learned while studying History to find jobs after graduation. Speakers include two Carleton History graduates who are employed near by: Paul Durand, who works with artefacts at the Canadian Museum of History and Robin Long who is a business and market researcher. There will also be two people involved with the History Co-op Program to discuss obtaining work placements: Kurtis Montgomery, a History student, and an administrator to answer your questions about the program.

Free food and drinks will be provided.
