Doctoral Candidate Jane Freeland wins GRIT Award

Doctoral candidate Jane Freeland has been announced as one of the winners of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs’ 2014 Graduate Research and Innovative Thinking (GRIT) Awards. These awards acknowledge and support outstanding senior PhD students conducting highly original and innovative research, with the expectation that they will make a significant impact in their respective field of study. Recipients will receive up to $5,000 for travel or other expenses related to their research topic.
