Professor Audra A. Diptee has published a new article on enslaved children in the Atlantic slave trade.

In keeping with her ongoing research on children and childhood, Audra Diptee has recently published the article “‘A Great Many Boys and Girls’: Igbo Children in the British Slave Trade, 1700-1808.” It is a chapter in the edited collection, The Igbo in the Atlantic World: African Origins and Diasporic Destinations (2016). The collection was edited by Toyin Falola and Raphael Nkoju and published by Indiana University Press.
