Under the Influence: Professor Matt Bellamy tells the story of how Canada became a nation of beer drinkers at local pub

In “Under the Influence: How Labatt and its Allies Brewed up a Nation of Beer Drinkers,” Dr. Matthew Bellamy of the Department of History told the story of how Labatt brewers and its allies turned Canada into a beer drinking nation.  His talk was given, appropriately enough, at Bowman’s Bar and Grill, on April 4, 2016, as one of Carleton’s CU in the City series.
