Over the weekend, Professor Jacob Kovalio presented at the 31st Japan Studies Association of Canada Annual Conference: “Japan’s World / The World’s Japan: Images, Perceptions and Reactions”, hosted by the Prince Takamado Japan Centre for Teaching and Research at the University of Alberta in collaboration with the University of Calgary.

Prof. Kovalio has a busy October as he’ll also be giving a lecture at the end of the month on “Making History – Shinzō Abe: the Domestic and Foreign Policy of Japan’s Longest Serving Prime Minister.” That lecture will take place here, in room 303 of Paterson Hall on Monday, October 29th at 7:30pm.
