Brandon Rigato, research assistant in Jennifer Evans’s SSHRC supported Populist Publics project and a PhD candidate (ABD) in The School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University, provided a witness statement at the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security panel April 28th for the study of the Rise of Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism (IMVE) in Canada. 

Brandon provided a specific and detailed example of IMVE by drawing on detailed research from his research that examines right wing extremism in Canada. His appearance can be viewed here:
